can yellow and white gold be worn together?

My wedding band is yellow gold, but there aren’t really many choices for jewelry in yellow gold. It seems like there is more variety in white gold. I was wondering if it would look terrible and tacky if I combined white gold with yellow gold. I know there is some jewelry out there with both yellow and white, but what if I wanted to wear a silver colored bracelet? Or found another ring to wear on my other hand? What about a necklace? I don’t know. My husband says it looks ok, but I feel slightly self conscious about it. Please give me your opinions.

Where can i get my engagement ring dipped in yellow gold..wil it be expensive??

My ring is white gold but now i think I want yellow because thats what I mostly wear. All of the wedding bands I’ve been looking at that I like are yellow as well. Should I have it dipped? I can’t seem to find out anything about the cost of this. Maybe I should just have it reset all together but I think that may cost even more. My fiance says he doesn’t mind so I really want to do it!! Where should I go? What will it cost? How long will it take? Will it lessen the value of the ring?
I feel as though it would cost a lot more than some of you think to have it reset. I think the setting alone was several thousand dollars, so it would be a shame to just waste it. Then again i would hate to have the gold rubbing off and keep having to re-do it.

I feel so bad because this what i wanted but now that I have it in 14kt and wake up to it every morning I dunno, I guess also I see a lot! of wedding magazines and NO ONE ever has on a YG wedding set its all in platinum…. now Im wondering is there a way a jeweler can change that or cast like a platinum clad over it ? I dunno maybe this is a stupid question but I know theres alot of smart and more informed yahoo people. hehe plz help?
