My wedding band is yellow gold, but there aren’t really many choices for jewelry in yellow gold. It seems like there is more variety in white gold. I was wondering if it would look terrible and tacky if I combined white gold with yellow gold. I know there is some jewelry out there with both yellow and white, but what if I wanted to wear a silver colored bracelet? Or found another ring to wear on my other hand? What about a necklace? I don’t know. My husband says it looks ok, but I feel slightly self conscious about it. Please give me your opinions.

Where can i get my engagement ring dipped in yellow gold..wil it be expensive??
May 28th, 2011My ring is white gold but now i think I want yellow because thats what I mostly wear. All of the wedding bands I’ve been looking at that I like are yellow as well. Should I have it dipped? I can’t seem to find out anything about the cost of this. Maybe I should just have it reset all together but I think that may cost even more. My fiance says he doesn’t mind so I really want to do it!! Where should I go? What will it cost? How long will it take? Will it lessen the value of the ring?
I feel as though it would cost a lot more than some of you think to have it reset. I think the setting alone was several thousand dollars, so it would be a shame to just waste it. Then again i would hate to have the gold rubbing off and keep having to re-do it.
