I am leaning on getting my soon to be husband stainless steel or white gold. White gold does not have the design i like no matter where i look. And it is more expensive and doesnt look as shiny as the stainless steel. But i feel like it might sound like its cheap if someone asked him what his ring was made out of? Opinions please!

November 12th, 2010I’m a newlywed. I’m wearing my great grandma’s white gold and diamond wedding ring. It’s beautiful! I’ve been wearing it for a few months now but I’ve noticed parts of the ring are starting to get dirty. It has this white soap scum looking stuff on it. I do wash my hands a lot so maybe it is soap scum. I don’t know. I tried tarnex because that’s what I use on all of my sterling silver jewelry, but that didn’t work. Is there anything like that for white gold?

October 30th, 2010I’m getting divorced. I have a beautiful wedding dress that I’m never going to wear again. Are there any good websites or stores to sell it (besides ebay)? i got this ad in jared catalog however i cant seem to find the ring… there is the band which is wide and little bars that raise the princess cut diamond above the band a good distance 1 or 2 inches. anyone know a site i can find it? its showing me regular rings but nothing like this
