Stress Relieving Silver Spinner Rings

April 6th, 2011

When looking at fashion jewelry, silver spinner rings have become quite popular in the fashion world. Over the years they have been worn by diverse generations in specific areas but now have caught on in the global fashion world.

These uniquely crafted rings are truly a proof to craftsmanship and quality. The outstanding design features a base band which has another band attached to it but is mobile in that it can be spun manually around the base band.

Although these rings are fashionable and chic, the main aim is to provide a calming effect to the wearer when they manually spin the outer band against the base ring.

This motion is believed to relieve anxiety and worry from the wearer much in the same way as other tension relieving gadgets. This is why silver spinner rings are also referred to as anxiety spinner rings and worry rings.

If you or anyone you know suffers from extensive anxiety and worry about various things then a silver spinner ring may be just the thing for you. The look itself perks up the spirit and when you have something on hand to help calm you down and de stress, then you will automatically feel better.

The kind of silver spinner rings available today make it easy to be sporting one without letting others know exactly what you are wearing. This is because they look just as good as other normal rings and are available in a wide range of exquisite designs for the masses.

The silver spinner rings offer simple creativity and design options which are very cost effective. If you are looking for a trendy design expression that is cost effective then there are more exclusive designer versions also available in the market.

Jewelry made in silver has a charm of its own, as it is a very sharp, shiny and reflective metal that allows designers to create a variety of designs with classic finish. And because it is not as expensive as other precious metals, it can be utilized and worn by a variety of people.

Thus this trendy silver spinner ring allows you to make a fashion statement while de-stressing and relieving your anxiety at the same time.

Another good advantage of using silver is that it becomes extremely tensile when mixed with other metals. This makes it long lasting and a worthy investment.

It is a known fact that 100% pure silver cannot be used for the purpose of making jewelry as it is too soft to be molded into shapes. Hence spinner rings are made using sterling silver which retains the same great look of silver while adding a considerable amount of durability.

These days there is an up growth in the popularity of silver purity rings. If you want to know more about spinner ring design follow the links above.

Wedding ring metals- is silver really that bad?

March 16th, 2011

I am currently trying to choose between platinum, gold, white gold, and silver for rings. Honestly, I like the look of silver best. Silver is the metal that almost all my jewelry is made out of, and one of the only metals that I have never had an irritation problem with. I’m looking for some expert advice. Will silver really wear down a TON over time? The rings I have seem to stay in pretty good condition as long as I take care of them. Is white gold any stronger than silver? How much so? How does the wear over the course of years differ between them? Platinum is expensive and I really don’t like the look of it- it’s too much for me and I’m sure it’s too much for him. I know that these rings are important and need to last, but I don’t know what to do! None of the jewelry I own is gold, and I am afraid that would make a bad choice because of that fact. I’m not really sure of that either though. I could really use some honest feedback- I’d prefer life experience or someone who has worked with and around metal for a long time. Thanks!

platinum over sterling silver bridal set ?

March 10th, 2011

I outgrew my wedding rings and am also broke. I was looking at some cheap sets and came across a page called palmbeachforeverfashonablejewlery. The metal type is platinum over sterling silver. What does this mean? Is sterling silver better not under platinum?. How can I tell if it’ll turn my finger green? What is the best way to maintain this metal? Here is a link to the rings in question. Any advice helps.

The band itself actually snapped in two pieces. My husband bough it for me 7 years ago when I was 16. I’d like to put the engagement ring up for safe keeping rather than having it resized.

Is it a good idea to get a sterling silver wedding ring?

February 9th, 2011

I always thought sterling silver wasn’t as strong, and would tarnish unlike other types of “silver” jewelry, like platinum, or white gold. Would it be a better bet to go w/ one of those rather than sterling silver? Would it be worth the cost of platinum in the end?

Sterling silver? Good or Bad for a wedding ring?

January 22nd, 2011

I was wondering if sterling silver is good for a wedding ring? There’s this place where i live its called Piercing Pagoda its a brand of Zales Corp. Most of there jewelry is sterling silver.
