what wedding band would look good with this ring?

This is my engagment ring, except mine has little diamonds on the band of it as well. but the square part sticks out to where a ring would not sit flush against it. i was thinking getting a custom one that fills in the space with metal (white gold to match) and has a row of the same sized diamonds on the edge to give the appearance of a band but filled in space with metal. what do you think? here’s a picture:

Well, to the first person: my ring doesn’t have any room underneath the main part for a ring to go underneath like Kate’s and I would really rather there not be a gap between rings, it bothers me for some reason.

What style of band would go nice with a basic princess engagement ring?

When I got married we were dirt poor now we have more money so I want my husband to buy me a real wedding band (I guess an anniversery band now) I haev just a solitare I think princess cut, just a round diamond, but it’s nice and clear. It’s white gold also. any ideas? A

Help selecting a great engagement ring!?

Which is the best wedding ring??

I am looking for an affordable engagement ring. We’re saving up to buy a house, so I want to stay within the budget. I found rings that I am in love with, but I don’t know how to chose a ring. I want something that will last for a few years until I can upgrade. :]

The only problem with actually going straight to a dealer is that you we would have to have immediate CASH. I don’t want to have to make monthly payments on something as frivilous as a ring, but we don’t have a huge lump of cash at the moment. :[

Should i have the ring plated or just send it back?
when i got married, we didnt have a ring. as a wedding band, i decided to purchase an 18 kt gold overlay ring. the ring has a lifetime gaurantee against excessive wear, etc..since overlay is suppossed to be very durable. well, i work as a cashier and only after 3 days, my band is already scratched..and like the gold plating is coming off!

i love the ring but i cant have it falling apart on me.would it be worth getting replated (this time with maybe platinum) or should I just send this ring back and have my husband invest in a real ring?

i dont really care that the ring isnt real gold per se. he’s the jewel, anyway. I do mind that the ring

is already falling a part.

ps. how much would it be to have a size 4 ring dipped in platinum anyway and how often would i have to get it redone in my line of work?

or am i better off just getting a sterling silver ring, as a final resort before just going for gold?
underneath the gold overlay is bright white stainless steel. overlay should have made it better than plating but from how the seller described it, it almost sounds like my ring was plated and misrepresented as gold overlay

Ring Engraving?

I am looking to get my boyfriend a ring for our two year aniversary (he got me a very expensive one last year, yeah, I know, promice rings) Sine we will be going off to college this year (about 200 miles apart) I really wanted to get him something specail, first of all should I get silver, stainless, or white gold (I can’t find a white gold engravable online though, if you could that would be great!) and what do you think is the best engraving…I have come up with a few or make a sugestion (they must be uncer 25 charaters).

How much would you pay for this ring? What would be a fair asking price?
This ring would be absolutely perfect as a wedding ring engagement band, promise ring, Christmas or birthday gift, or just to say I love you!

Engagement Ring?

Just out of curiosity (i’ve already given my fiance her engagement ring and have the wedding ring too- wedding is july 21), What did you get for your engagement ring?

My girl has tiny fingers, so naturally, any size ring looks big on her. when we went for her to try some on, what she picked was well within my budget. (we did not follow the 2 months salary because thats just crazy!!!)

It’s just that, whenever she’s at work, some ladies look at her ring and go, “Wow! You better keep that man!!!”

It always makes me chuckle, and thats why I’m trying to figure out if it really is that big.

Her ring is size 4 (told you she has tiny fingers!)
and it’s a 1.5 tcw, 3-stone diamond on a white gold band.

Believe me, I’m “not” trying to toot my own horn, but when she tells me that this occurance happens many times a day when she’s at work, i kinda wonder what everyone else has. I’m just curious.

I know you get what you can afford, and God has blessed me with a good paying job!

My grandma is giving me her wedding ring set. They are gorgeous. My boy friend is going to talk to her when he is ready to propose. There is only one problem… the rings are like a 5 or a 6, and I wear a 8. Can I get them sized up? They are white gold, with diamonds. If I can, approx. how much will it be?
