i have been wearing my wedding band for 2 years now, and never had a problem, now i get these itchy bumps around my finger and it swells up. could i possibly be developing an allergic reaction now? also, i wear my engagement ring on my other hand and that finger is just fine, the engagement band and the wedding band are both 14 karat white gold. why would that band be ok and not the other?

September 10th, 2011I am getting blisters from my wedding band after wearing it for 20 years…what could be the problem?
July 10th, 2011I don’t know why, but I am now having a problem with my wedding band. I am getting these clear blisters, that itch like mad, on my finger all around and underneath my ring. I have not had this problem before and have worn this ring for the last 20 years. I have cleaned it, with jewlry cleaner in a sonic cleaning machine…no luck. I have removed it, and waited until the blisters have completely cleared up and put the ring back on…and my finger blistered right back up again. I am seriously thinking I might have developed an alergy to gold for some odd reason. Though I have a yellow and white gold mixed ring on my opposite hand and am not having a problem with it.
I would really like to see if I can find a way to still wear this ring…..it is my wedding band.
White & Yellow Gold Ring Problem?
December 1st, 2010Whenever I wear my white or yellow gold rings It seems like the joints in my Fingers hurt really bad, like almost get stiff. Does anyone know why this is? I doesn’t seems so bad with Sterling silver but every time I wear my wedding band my knucles hurt and seem to swell a little. Any one have any ideas why this might be happening ?

There not tight at all if anything maybe a little loose
and its not just one finger or one ring it just seems like any gold ring if I wear them more than a couple hours that’s when my fingers start getting stiff of hurting
