This is a Zale’s ring, from their “Past, Present, Future” collection. It is 14k white gold with a genuine Sri Lanke oval shaped sapphire (5.0 x 4.0) and two genuine diamond accents.

My fiance and I are going to get our wedding bands custom made. We have the diamonds already, so we will need to pay for the white gold (14k), and getting the diamonds channel set with emeralds (which we need to buy) in between. Can anyone give me an approximate idea of how much each ring will cost? Thanks.
My fiance got me a gorgeous uniquely shaped diamond engagement ring. The shape of the ring is essentially a hexagon (6 sided). So basically in order for a potential wedding band to fit with this I would need a band with a “V” cutout. Is thing something I would HAVE to have made custom or are there ones available online? And if it must be done custom- how much would that run for 14 karat white gold.
Since my engagement ring is “plain” – 1 karat princess cut with thin white gold band, I’d like to get a band with small diamonds on it to accent my 1 karat. There are some for $300 and then some for $2,000 – which I refuse to spend! I’d like something on the cheaper side, but classy.

DeBeers, the largest diamond producer in the world, states 2 months…. thats alot.
Spend what you can afford is what most people tell you.
I make just over 6 figures, so i plan on just under 10K on the engagement ring, which will be an estate style ring (center diamond with small diamonds around it) on a platinum ring and appox 3K on the eternity/wedding band (a band with small diamonds all around it) ring, which both fit nicely together from Tiffany’s.
However, i will explore the jewely district in Boston for just a diamond of the same quality, but 2-3K less, then go back to Tiffany’s and have them mount it on the platinum ring that she likes.
I have a small wedding band made of half white gold and half gold gold(these are 14k). I also have a bigger 1970′s pimp ring which looks like gaudy swiss cheese(which is also 14k). I know you can’t give me an exact figure, but I’d like to have a basic idea before i sell it so i don’t get ripped off. If it isn’t worth anything, let me know. Thanks so much!
