I thought the hard ring-shopping work was over when I bought my fiancee’s engagement ring. WRONG. Now I have to get a ring for myself. I got platinum for her because I knew it was what she wanted, but now I don’t know what to get for myself. I definitely want a white metal, but after that I’m lost. I’m looking for something durable and classic, and price is not an issue. What kind of metal is the best for men’s wedding bands?

Upgrading our wedding rings…what metal is best?
November 3rd, 2010We are using our same diamonds but want to revamp and design new rings for each other. What metal is best? As far as quality, price and durability? We dont want anything that will tarnish, ever! Nothing that will scratch easily and nothing that will break the pocket book. We will spend the money on the best but dont want to get talked into a specific metal by a jeweler not knowing what we are getting into. Any advice?

October 30th, 2010It’s usually the yellow Gold that is being used as wedding rings but I’m planning to buy a white gold ones with a little diamonds in it for a change.Is it ok?I want to surprise her with that but i dont know it’s ok.
