I’m planning on wearing a ring my dad wore (he passed away a few years ago) along with my engagement ring to my wedding. But my grandmother offered up her mother’s ring as my “something old” it’s very tiny and will have to go on my pinky finger or halfway down another finger like she wears it.
I’m going to have to have my dad’s ring fixed as it was bent and then cut off his finger, it’s sterling silver with a gold nugget center.
My question is would both rings together be too much? I plan on honouring my dad in a few other ways at the ceremony and the reception and my great-grandmothers ring is family tradition (my cousin wore it and so will my other cousin).
