Is the engagement ring part of the wedding set?
thanks to all.
If the engagement ring is supposed to be the beautiful one, what happens to it after you receive your wedding band? You just put it away because you have to wear the band? *Confusion* I would think a person would want to wear the most beautiful ring for the rest of their life… Not just a “band.”
1. White gold?
2. Titanium?
3. Stainless steel?
I know they are all white/silver looking but what is a better quality and difference? I’m looking to buy a set (Just 2 bands) and I never really payed attention til now. Thanks in advance
I am looking at some white gold rings as our matching wedding bands, and They range from 60-400 dollars. They are 10,12, and 14 karat gold. I know that means 10k is less than 12k etc. but what is the actual difference besides cost and amount of gold? Will 10k flake off sooner than 14k or will it flake off at all? I would wear it every day.. So I am kinda new and confused.
What is the different between an engagement ring and a bridal set?
I am purchasing a wedding ring and obviously can’t wear gold (even 24k). I need to know if I can go to a white gold or if I need to look at platinum.
Do you have to have both or can you just get one ring?
My engagement ring is white gold (a one carat princess cut diamond on plain white gold band) and my wedding ring (we just purchased it) is platinum with small princess cut diamonds all around it. The band is 1/2 carat in diamonds and looked really pretty with my enagement ring, however, the wedding band was not available in white gold so we had to get it in platinum. When I tried them on together, I saw virtually no difference in color, maybe because the diamonds on the band are the focus, but over time, what do I have to do to make sure the colors don’t change? I dont want it to be noticeable.
