My fiance and I got engaged a couple months ago and when we went ring shopping we fell in love with a wedding set and its 14kt. My diamond is 3/4 carrot. I love my ring, even if it was from a 25 cent machine, but am just curious if the gild will last, and what the difference in kt’s are??

That is some pretty harsh language sweetie. The point is, you asked for advice and that is what you got. If you just wanted people to agree with you and feel sorry for you, you should have said so.
