I just bought my fiance’s wedding band yesterday! I bought Tungsten because the Jeweler said it can’t be scratched and is really strong, almost impossible to bend, which is great for my hard working man! =]
My husband’s ring is tungsten and he absolutely loves it! It doesn’t have a single scratch and it stays incredibly shiny. Just make sure that it is the right size when you order it because it can be complicated to get it in a different size later on.
i would recomend tungsten, my fiance is getting a tungsten ring when we get married. i guess on the hardness scale its like right before diamonds, a diamond hardly scratches it. he said that they ingrave the rings with diamonds because thats the only thing that scraches it. and tungsten comes in really cool styles, and they are very reasonably priced rings. my fiance is looking at one like this :

Tungsten. We went to a highly rated jewelry store, and that is what they recommended for my future husbands band since he works outdoors where there is a good chance he could get scratches on his ring!

I work in a jewelry store and the best metal that we have for men’s rings is most definitely tungsten..
it’s the hardest metal in the world, doesn’t tarnish, always stays shiny and everything..you can literally take a metal filer to it and it will still be the same..
you CAN remove it in an emergency..no matter what people tell you..
in our store it can be a bit pricey..
