My boyfriend was married for a very short time (4 months) and we still have his wedding ring it is platinum with diamonds. We want to get rid of it, but neither of us have ever pawned something, or really used like ebay or craigslist. Were not really sure what to do with it but we don’t want it in our house anymore!

Take it to a jewelry store. They are buying gold and silver.
ebay will get you more money than pawning it.
Ebay would be a better asking price or take pictures and post as local stores and churches.
ebay will be better then a pawn shop.

Put an ad in your local newspaper if you don’t want to worry about ebay or pawning it. I’m surprised noone has offered that suggestion yet.

If I were you, I would go to jewelry store and get your ring polished. And then take its picture in a homemade
light box ( google it ). Finally, you are ready to sell it from ebay or amazon for what it really worths.
